Wildlife Travel - Worldwide Wildlife Viewing With Local Experts
“Wildlife Travel” was set up 21 years ago to support conservation. Destinations include the UK, Europe and worldwide. “Wildlife Travel” are extremely proud of their holidays and believe that their holidays are very different to any other. However, there are many travel companies out there organising holidays to wonderful parts of the world. So why, you may ask, should you choose to travel with “Wildlife Travel”? What makes the company so different?
For “Wildlife Travel“, their conservation credentials aren’t just a case of ‘green wash’, they are central to the way the holidays and business function. “Wildlife Travel” was set up with the express aim of supporting nature conservation. Any profit made is donated to The Wildlife Trusts to support their vital conservation work in the UK.
Wherever possible they work directly with nature conservation organisations in the host countries to support their activities. For instance, their trip to Bulgaria is organised to support the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, while the stay in the Peruvian rainforest will contribute to the work of the Tambopata Research Centre, studying scarlet macaws. All leaders either work in, or have direct links with, nature conservation.
A programme is being developed offering more holidays that don’t require air travel. It is now possible to travel to several European destinations by train.
“Wildlife Travel” are also working closely with the local “Wildlife Trusts” in the UK to develop a programme of UK breaks, offering wildlife viewing with the local experts.
