Summer Solstice | Stonehenge | The Official Start of BRITISH Summertime
Tomorrow, the 21st June 2007 is summer solstice, the official start of BRITISH summer time - the longest day of the year.
My mum, daughter and I were invited to go and stay with a friend who lives nearby Stonehenge, as it is the only time of year visitors are allowed to go there. But the journey there would have been too long with my daughter who is 21 months old. She is not one who likes to sit still, and is always on the move. I also don’t want to put her through any unnecessary discomfort. Maybe next year we will go.
