Spiritual and Physical Detox
Don’t we all go through periods when we feel below average? We may feel stressed, low, tired and lack energy? Is your weight fluctuating? Are you suffering from digestive problems? Indigestion or even IBS? Maybe your symptoms are subtle. If you are in tune with yourself spiritually, you will naturally know that your spiritual development depends on your physical well-being. Lets face it, after all, ‘you are what you eat’. You are your lifestyle. So, do you:
1. choose to tuck into a pile of junk food?
Or
2. Do you choose pure, organic, natural array of freshness, vitality and living foods?
Well, I certainly choose number two, as I believe that a healthy body has a much higher vibration.
Throughout history, spiritual masters knew that if they wanted to operate at a higher spiritual level, they had to keep their bodies pure. They would fast to detoxify. One way of doing so is to refrain from eating and to just drinking pure water. Than your body can focus on detoxifying. I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that most illnesses are related to a build up of toxicity in the body. Toxins are very often the underlying cause of dis-ease. Obvious to me really, but when the body has enough, the body has enough and you must admit that all to often the body is “abused” in a great number of ways.
How about learning from your ‘primitive’ ancestors to experience good health? They ate wild berries, fruit, leaves, roots, nuts and seeds and yes of course, free range meat and also fish. Their diet provided a broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals, enzymes and phytochemicals.
Personal Note:
I’ve been on a 6-day fasting-detox quite recently and from my own experience I know that the best way of keeping my body purified and raising my vibrations is to include a high volume of Raw AND ‘living foods’, which is my ‘main‘ diet now.
Of course, not all cooked foods are ‘bad‘, but by eating “Raw and Living Foods” you consume vital vitamins, minerals and also ‘living’ enzymes that detoxify.

when detoxifying the body, i find it much better to use natural products rather than those synthetic detox products. that is why i always go after the natural detox way. but for convenience. those commercial detox kits are pretty much better..

Hi there - thanks for the comment.
To Detox it is best to use Organics wherever possible. I don’t use products myself. I’m a Vegetarian and Raw Fooder. My Detox would be fasting, Colonics and juicing. Why use any products if it isn’t necessary?

exercise and sweating also helps eliminates toxins out of the body. aside from taking regular detox diets you should also add exercise to your detox routines.

To true - sorry I didn’t mention it. Perhaps I thought it was obvious that exercise is part of the whole. Thanks for pointing it out.
