Today already started as a lovely morning…
The sun was shining through the window and the heat of the sunrays woke me up…Stretching as I normally do, I reached over into nothing… and I knew he had already gone…
Little did I know that I was going to have an unexpected invite for dinner tonight of my ever so busy partner to a beautiful Tapas Bar close by. My excitement grew!!
The place we went to (we have been there on a number of occasions alone as well as with friends) has proven again to be a non-forgettable experience. We both love Tapas, so in a way it made my day to be taken away by my busy partner from our work and also our busy lifestyle.
The friendliness, the atmosphere, the people, the view onto the cosy ivy overgrown yard as well as the cosy candlelit tables made my heart miss a beat once again tonight.
Having been there a few times now it seemed to be getting more “homely”, more “familiar”.
The music took me back in time to the many happy holidays we have enjoyed together…. and the longing to be together is stronger than before.
Even after all these years nothing has changed, as well as everyting else, we still enjoy the same dishes and as it was for today, it brought back fond memories of our many happy travels as well as feeling very connected.
Aren’t I lucky!!!
