Recharge Your Batteries

Recharge Your Batteries

We all have a lot to be thankful for. One thing I’m grateful for is my apartment. It’s beautiful with its parkett flooring, open plan kitchen, large glass sliding door onto the balcony, which enjoys direct sea views. What more can I ask?

With the weather being so nice today I dropped everything, opened the balcony door as wide as possible and decided to lay in the lounge on my sun lounger in the sun. Would you believe that my face was all glowy just after 30 minutes, and that in the middle of November. So realaxing to feel the sun hitting my face and listening to my new personal development tape. I feel recharged and relaxed tonight. You should give it a go yourself. Recharge your batteries! ;-)

By the way, my apartment is not the only thing I’m grateful for.

What are you grateful for? What did you do with your morning? Anything interesting?

Conversations With God: Neale Donald Walsch

Conversations With God: Neale Donald Walsch

Some time ago I went to Birmingham for a few days for a two day workshop followed by a seminar by Neale Donald Walsch. Neale was brilliant and if you get a chance you should go and see him. I’m sure some of you have been already ;-)

Challenging Times

Challenging Times

Times are turbulent. And recently for many, these times are becoming more challenging. I trust you are taking good care of yourself.

Personally for me, I’m going through some challenging times myself right now and I find it more important than usual in engaging and practicing some ‘stress management’ techniques and finding my inner paradise. Finding that inner paradise, managing stress is a great way of expanding as well as ‘growing’ your brain. It stretches the conceptualisation of how good your life can really be.

What stress management techniques have you chosen?

Babytoupee – This got to be a Joke?

Babytoupee – This got to be a Joke?

Well, I come across a website today that made me laugh, where actually it is quite ‘alarming’ what people do with their babies. The Americans. What’s next? I wonder…

Does this actually mean that some parents are to embarrassed taking their baby out if it has no hair? Would you put a ‘wig’, ‘hair piece’. ‘toupee’ on your baby? I certainly wouldn’t.

To me a baby is a baby. Most babies have no hair between the 0-9 months. A baby isn’t a dolly, a toy or something you have to ‘dress up’ and take out to ‘show’ off. Wouldn’t you love your little one anyway? Hair or not?

I’ve brought up 5 children, hair or no hair, I loved them as they were.

This is what they say:
The mission of Santa Barbara, CA-based BabyToupee and SmallHuman, LLC is to show that while parenting can be a great responsibility, it can also be a source of endless amusement. The company’s goal is to bring creative and fun products to market that make parenting a little more fun, all while bringing a smile to the face of their children. Life is too short to take seriously… have fun with your baby! (… to true. Have fun with your baby, BUT take bringing it up seriously!!)

If that’s “fun“, than I don’t know?

This just got to go in my ‘laughter’ category. Where else could this go?

Press release:
Babytoupee coming to bald babies everywhere

How about this. It just got to be a joke:

How about this for an ‘addition’?:

Tax Disc – Where can I get one of these?

Tax Disc – Where can I get one of these?

Is it time for your next Tax Disc?

I don’t know about you, but I thought the revenue is supposed to go towards our road tax? But have you noticed the roads these days? There are more potholes out there than on the moon. What are we actually paying for? What is road tax anyway?

Wouldn’t we all like one of these?

Yes, I\'ve paid my tax

The Compass Movie – Official Trailer

The Compass Movie – Official Trailer

Most of us know that life is meant to be lived in abundance and that we all desire to experience to live our lives at the highest level possible. For my part, I have been taught and have learnt how important vision is and keeping your thoughts clear.

If you sincerely want to accomplish to be successful, you have to do a bit more than needs to be done to get to the top. You need to live life with fulfilment and of course gratitude. If you don’t know your optimal path, you wander slowly and aimlessly. Life will meander like a stream and will take you down the mountain instead of carrying you all the way up to the top.

Your very own compass is your inner sense of direction. Question is, are you heading in the right direction? Are you discovering your true purpose and than living it from where you are to where you want to be? If you can’t be happy, than WHAT else is there?

The Universe is your playground!

Orphans in Africa Project – We Need Your Help!

Orphans in Africa Project – We Need Your Help!

I’ve had an e-mail of Mark Anastasi, you know, the guy who empowers and inspires people to live a life of passion, purpose and joy. Well, I must say, today he inspired me to look into the ‘Orphans in Africa Project’. You too should check it out and re-think what’s really important in life.

Orphans in Africa is a non-profit charity organisation and funded by donations only. The project is created for the purpose of assisting AIDS orphans as well as street children.

Orphans in Africa Project is supported by many caring individuals as well as churches. The project isn’t affiliated to any church or organisation in particular. The simple aims come straight from the heart.

- giving a home to African orphans and street kids
- creating a safe, loving and nurturing environment
- giving them a healthy diet and a good education
- releasing them back into the community as healthy, educated and well-adjusted adults so they can play their part in the future of their own nation

Here is what you can do:

Join the group on facebook (like I did, and invite your friends):
