French Cuisine - Seductive, Beautiful and Light

I am always inspired by other cuisines and there are two kinds that really stand out to me, the French and Japanese. They correspond with modernity. They are healthy… beautiful… balanced… I guess just like good art. Or maybe it is the geographical position, therefore the temperate climate… exceptional wines… good produce… or maybe the history?

In the ‘olden’ days (Europe until the Renaissance) a real chef was able to advise you what is good for the heart. How to treat your liver. What’s good for the digestion. Don’t fret. It’s all coming back now.

Keep Your Heart Healthy

Taste is of prime importance though and dishes are made to look beautiful, seductive as well as light.

Some will say it is just about the taste, but I think that most are aware that it isn’t just about taste. It is about biological and nutritional knowledge too. And, by eating at a great restaurant you will never get ill, as the served products are of exceptional quality as well as very healthy and dietetic.

A good French chef has the ability to transform any recipe and make it unique. It’s not about technique here, I am talking about the way they cook things. When a great French chef cooks something, he counts the seconds.

It’s about the love of a product and it’s perfection.
