Council Tax cover up: Are you paying to much?
I checked this out tonight and it sounds quite interesting. Check yours and let me know if you are getting a massive payout too.
WHY YOU MAY BE IN THE WRONG COUNCIL TAX BAND
The amount you pay in council tax depends on which band you’re in. In England and Scotland, the bands depend on the 1991 valuation of house price values. Yet these didn’t involve someone coming to your home; many were ‘second gear valuations’, so called because they were often done by literally driving past houses and allocating a band.
As this programme shows, not only are we still reliant on the same system, but apart from in Wales, there’s been no revaluation in seventeen years. All in all this means it has more holes than Swiss cheese. … read more

sounds about right - all we seem to do in this country is pay tax upon tax and for what? Really, what does it ALL get spent on? Im sure some of it gets used on what it is supposed to. Its all a hoax, no different to the gangs used to get people to pay protection money or else. Its all just under a different guise now. THEY are THIEVES.
