Good question. But whatever the answer is, we only use such a little part of our brain, what is the rest doing? Have you ever wondered?

Well, this is supposed to be my outcome below. I’m not that sure about it though.

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you’re left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you’re right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

Recharge Your Batteries

We all have a lot to be thankful for. One thing I’m grateful for is my apartment. It’s beautiful with its parkett flooring, open plan kitchen, large glass sliding door onto the balcony, which enjoys direct sea views. What more can I ask?

With the weather being so nice today I dropped everything, opened the balcony door as wide as possible and decided to lay in the lounge on my sun lounger in the sun. Would you believe that my face was all glowy just after 30 minutes, and that in the middle of November. So realaxing to feel the sun hitting my face and listening to my new personal development tape. I feel recharged and relaxed tonight. You should give it a go yourself. Recharge your batteries!

By the way, my apartment is not the only thing I’m grateful for.

Challenging Times

Times are turbulent. And recently for many, these times are becoming more challenging. I trust you are taking good care of yourself.

Personally for me, I’m going through some challenging times myself right now and I find it more important than usual in engaging and practicing some ‘stress management’ techniques and finding my inner paradise. Finding that inner paradise, managing stress is a great way of expanding as well as ‘growing’ your brain. It stretches the conceptualisation of how good your life can really be.

Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in: Pretty Woman

Funny how things happen in life really, but I very rarely watch tv and on two occassions when I did, they showed “Pretty Woman” with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Although I’m not a Richard Gere, neither a Julia Roberts fan, but I love the characters they play and how “Edward” changes for the better and in the end. What a man. I know, I’m an ‘old’ romantic, but this is one of my favs.

Magic of the Dance, said to be the world’s most explosive Irish dance phenomenon

Tonight I have been to Theatre. It was a short notice decision. I was excited and was hoping that the show would be as overwhelming as the once I have seen before.

In the advertisement it says that it is to be “the world’s most explosive Irish dance phenomenon”.

Well, my excitement vanished very quickly. It was lovely, but in no way as good or even close to good as the once I had seen before, so part of me was (of course) a little disappointed, but in the end I guess it is a matter of ‘taste’.

Last year I watched Spirit of the Dance. NO COMPARISON! For me personally no other show has beat it yet. That is for me personally anyway.

Not really what I was looking for in the early hours this morning. Yes, I should have be in bed at 2AM this morning, but I got carried away and am really quite tired, but the familiar sound of the music woke me up again. How funny, it was CONDORI, my sisters husband, my brother-in-law.

The quality of the video isn’t that great, but who cares? It’s the music, you got to listen to it.

Wish I Just Had Five More Minutes | One More Chance

Just Five More Minutes

While at the park one day, a woman sat down next to a man on a bench near a playground.

“That’s my son over there,” she said, pointing to a little boy in a red sweater who was gliding down the slide.

“He’s a fine looking boy” the man said. “That’s my daughter on the bike in the white dress.”

Then, looking at his watch, he called to his daughter. “What do you say we go, Melissa?”

Melissa pleaded, “Just five more minutes, Dad. Please? Just five more minutes.”

The man nodded and Melissa continued to ride her bike to her heart’s content. Minutes passed and the father stood and called again to his daughter. “Time to go now?”

Again Melissa pleaded, “Five more minutes, Dad. Just five more minutes.”

The man smiled and said, “OK.”

“My, you certainly are a patient father,” the woman responded.

The man smiled and then said, “Her older brother Tommy was killed by a drunk driver last year while he was riding his bike near here. I never spent much time with Tommy and now I’d give anything for just five more minutes with him. I’ve vowed not to make the same mistake with Melissa.

She thinks she has five more minutes to ride her bike. The truth is, I get Five more minutes to watch her play.”

Life is all about making priorities, what are your priorities?
