Forwards and Upwards, that’s the way to go

Forwards and Upwards, that’s the way to go

I’m sure you have all been told to “choose your parents with great care”, as it’s supposed to be the key to success. Personally I believe that it is partially true, but I also believe that it is even more important to choose your career with great care. And of course, that is up to you. In the process remember that YOU are the most important person in your life and the choice of job/occupation that suits you has to come before anything else.

Lets face it (and most of you are on a daily basis), if you do a job or even something you are not enjoying or maybe disbelieve in, you will never be happy. You resent what you are doing. If you are not happy and resent what you are doing, you won’t be successful. As simple as that!

Before you even ask, the answer is NO. What you have doesn’t really matter. BUT what you do with what you have is the important factor. Obviously that is what determines your success and yes, unfortunately it also determines your failures. Most people tend to settle for far less than they are capable of achieving. That’s called fear and lack of motivation.

I am sure you want to be best at what you are doing. No, you want to be excellent at what you are doing. Rewards only go towards extraordinary performance. To be “The Best”, do what it takes! Pay any price. Go any distance and of course spend the amount of time required.

What category to you belong to?

=> EXTRAORDINARY performance ?
=> AVERAGE performance ?
=> BELOW AVERAGE performance?

Today YOU are paid exactly the amount of money that you are worth.

NO more – NO less!!!

You want more? Than the answer to that would be to increase your worth – to increase your values of yourself and also of others.

Motivation is vital. Choose the right job/career and do what it takes to be excellent at what you are doing.

Don’t fear. Fear effects our behaviour and of course, doesn’t it quite often lead us to making the “wrong” choices and decisions?

The opposite of fear is love, loving yourself and respecting yourself. And believe me, loving what you are doing gets you in the mood, it gets you motivated. You become excellent at what you are doing, which means you move forwards and upwards!

How do you define RICH? | Five Million

Well, once you watch the video below and listen to the words of McCain, you will wonder how any reasonable person can think that McCain is right for America.

QUESTION: “Define ‘rich.’ Give me a number. Give me a specific number. Where do you move from middle class to rich?

MCCAIN: “If you’re just talking about income, how about five million?”

The Power of Nice | Nice is more than just a four letter word

The Power of Nice | Nice is more than just a four letter word

“NICE” is a very powerful word, don’t you agree?

“The Power of Nice” can change your life, it can just about improve anything in your life that you desire.

Think about it:

• Nice is luckier in love. People who are low-key and congenial have one-half the divorce rate of the general population, says a University of Toronto study.

• Nice makes more money. According to Professor Daniel Goleman, who conducted research on how emotions affect the workplace for his book Primal Leadership, there is a direct correlation between employee morale and the bottom line. One study found that every 2 percent increase in the service climate—that is, the general cheerfulness and helpfulness of the staff—saw a 1 percent increase in revenue.

• Nice is healthier. A University of Michigan study found that older Americans who provide support to others—either through volunteer work or simply by being a good friend and neighbor—had a 60 percent lower rate of premature death than their unhelpful peers.

• Nice spends less time in court. One study found that doctors who had never been sued spoke to their patients for an average of three minutes longer than physicians who had been sued twice or more, reports Malcolm Gladwell in his book Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking.

It is often the small kindnesses—the smiles, gestures, compliments, favors—that make our day and can even change our lives. Whether you are leading your own company, running for president of the PTA, or just trying to conduct a civil conversation with your teenage daughter, the power of nice will help you break through the misconceptions that keep you from achieving your goals.

The power of nice will help you to open doors, improve your relationships at work and at home, and let you sleep a whole lot better. Nice not only finishes first; those who use its nurturing power wind up happier, to boot! In the chapters ahead, we’ll show you that being nice doesn’t mean sacrificing what you want for someone else. There’s always a second, third, or even fourth solution when you apply the principles of nice.

=> What’s a “hard pull” and a “soft pull”?
=> What are inquiries?

Money As Debt

Money As Debt

“Money as Debt” tells you in a very simple and effective graphic term what money is and how it is being created. This video is an entertaining way to get the message out.

Very interesting that some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something.

“They know that there is a power somewhere so organised, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

* Woodrow Wilson,
former President of the United States

10 Things NOT to do when losing money

10 Things NOT to do when losing money

You invested some money. Well, you lost it. So what?

None of us like to talk about losing money. But it all depends on how you look at it, as things are not always as they appear.

Life always invites us to go deeper. There are times when we all lose out at some point, but look out for the things NOT to do.

In a nutshell:

1. DON’T ever play the Victim – see yourself as a victim… AND you lose your power.

2. DON’T hang on to labels and judgements – BOTH invite MORE negative reactions and before you know it, you are in ‘victim’ mode.

3. DON’T resist,/avoid/deny your experience – it is REAL. JUST accept it – face what happened.

4. DON’T give the experience energy – do your very best to stay objective during those times.

5. DON’T go the route that builds walls – build bridges. Keep to higher paths.

6. DON’T waste time in regret – LET GO! Learn from the experience and MOVE ON!

7. DON’T let memories hold you back – consider another venture in the near future.

8. DON’T lose your focus – appreciate the abundance you DO have in your life.

9. DON’T get stressed – look out for the purpose, for the bigger picture of the experience you were given, what you were invited to learn.

10. DON’T lose sight of your motives – as it so happens, you have been given a gift.

Life moves on. Embrace it. And by letting go you can turn your attention to the things that really matter instead of focusing on the negative of something that cannot be changed.

Appreciate the good things you already have in your life

Appreciate the good things you already have in your life

I do come across a LOT of people, sites and even offers in my e-mails with “claims” to offer something ‘better’. Something ‘groundbreaking’. Something ‘revolutionary‘. Something ‘Life-changing‘… and that not only in the field of health and personal development. Lately, more than ever even in the field of marketing and business growth. People are trying to get your attention with ANYTHING… quite amusing, considering that in the ‘olden’ days I would ‘fall’ for it all too.

Today, all this is behind me. But had you seen me a few years back, I had been dead-broke. I had a next-to-NO income to speak of. I was living entirely off credit cards, had a cleaning job and tried bringing up 5 children. Don’t ‘kill’ yourself financially, physically and/or even emotionally.

And YES, I do know that making more money and getting more fun and enjoyment out of life are as much top priorities for you, JUST as they are for me. But first get to peace. Inner security. I never understand why people care more about their outside than their inside. Why they are always ‘moaning’ about their hair… figure… weight… skin… height… job… kids… neighbours… car… home… and yes, their partners?! You name it, they moan about it. An old x-friend of mine used to even have her ‘depressive’ days when ‘Eastenders’ (soap opera) wasn’t to her liking.

Acknowledge all of the good things in your life. Stop wanting and longing for more without having appreciation. Appreciation for the good things that you already have in your life. Both, the small as well as the BIG things. Appreciate yourself. Discover a sense of ‘wholeness’. Develop an attitude of gratitude. AND you will see, everything will ‘fall into place.

In the financial world, when something that’s ‘appreciated’ it grows in value. Learn to be consistently thankful as well as approving and your life will grow in value and you will see that that’s the only life-changing thing there is and that your life will grow in value.

Greed – is Money the Root of All Evil?

Greed – is Money the Root of All Evil?

How many times have you heard someone say “money is the root of all evil”? I have heard it so many times, I stopped counting. It is a very popular thing to say, but it isn’t true!

I do not want to get into a theological debate about evil and its roots, but I will say that “money is the root of all evil” is a misquote of a biblical source, in Timothy 6:10. As we ll know, English translations vary, but all of them say something on the lines of “for the love of money, is the root of all different kinds of evil”. Do you notice the difference? It’s not money itself being the root of all different kinds of evil, it’s about the love for money. See how a few small words make all the difference?

A lot of people would try to be as poor as possible very quickly, if any religions truly pointed to the money as the root of all evil. Money would be treated like the pest, like a catching disease.

There are some people who give away their income or they choose poverty to better serve others. Most of them will describe their lifestyle as a calling, or maybe as a gift. Something that is beyond of what is required.

You do not have to be a believer, but just think about the statement that money is the root of all evil. What does this really mean? If money was the root of all evil, if that was the case, only people who had money would be able to do evil things. It would also mean that the people with the most money would be the most evil of them all. Sad but true, some people without money seem to think that it’s true, but IT IS NOT! We are all capable of the same. We can all cheat and steal. Assault and kill. The poor, the rich and those in between.

Lets look at it from another angle. Greed, or the love of money!! Doesn’t greed cause people to do some pretty horrible, awful things? It’s the same with lust for power. Sex and hatred. Desire for revenge. Jealousy… and there are also some more noble things like desire for purity or maybe an attempt to protect someone. To a man who drops a drug into a woman’s glass so he can take her home, money is very rarely on his mind.

Money is the root of all evil is very often used as an excuse for not saving. An excuse as if to say, “If I am poor, I’m a better person”. Spending all of your money as soon as you receive it doesn’t make you a better person. It rather makes you a very irresponsible person. And than again looking at it from another point of view, having a back up and saving for your future does not make you evil, it rather gives you possibilities. Possibilities that when the need arises to be able to help others or maybe even to avoid needing the help of others. Something to consider, don’t you think?
