How Old Are You Really?

How Old Are You Really?

By Bryant Smith

Just for fun I just finished writing a 100% free, lightning fast picture age guessing application. The little web game is called How Old Are You. The game is extremely simple. You are presented with pictures of people of all ages. All you have to do is have a guess and click on how old you think they are.

Your vote is recorded immediately and a new picture is presented. You can also add your own picture. Go on, try it ;-)

Have Fun!!

Happy two thousand and mine! – THIS IS MY YEAR!

Happy two thousand and mine! – THIS IS MY YEAR!

2008 – well, I think that there are a lot of us who are only to glad to see the back of it.

For my part, I have had a bit of a rough time too, just like the rest of you. Recovering from my accident. Learning to walk again. Learning about the painful end of my relationship after over 7 years in November. Do you know, love does make you blind to see how AND what things really are or maybe I should say love made me ignorant to some sad facts. And do you know, to be honest, I never thought of me being single again, but the endless tears – the disbelief of what was happening – forgiving and forgetting on a daily basis – it just had to be done.

From a VERY personal perspective I must say, “THIS IS MY YEAR”!! and it started surprisingly well.

Here are some dates:

NO alcohol since October 23rd 200
NO smoking since November 23rd 2007 (YES, I am ashamed to say that the stresses of life got the ‘better’ of me, but NOW I got the better of me and I AM back in charge)

I went on a detox for a week with 17 friends (YES, colonics and all), fasted for a week (bloody hard). Had salads on Christmas day and am still having salads to date. I bought myself a dehydrator. I am a RAW FOODER, a vegetarian (since Christmas 2006) and I do NOT have any dairy or eggs either. I feel AWESOME. I am 170cm tall and weigh 65 kg at the moment (and am loosing more). I look GORGEOUS and HEALTHY, and am young, free and single – and in a few weeks I am moving. ;-)

To be fair, this is your year too and it be lovely if you report back to me at the end of it and I hope that you excitedly tell me about the hundreds of beautiful moments, people, things, places and feelings you have manifested. Write them down, then you can’t forget why you’re so happy. ;-)

Wildlife Travel – Worldwide Wildlife Viewing With Local Experts

Wildlife Travel – Worldwide Wildlife Viewing With Local Experts

Submitted by Ina Woolcott

“Wildlife Travel” was set up 21 years ago to support conservation. Destinations include the UK, Europe and worldwide. “Wildlife Travel” are extremely proud of their holidays and believe that their holidays are very different to any other. However, there are many travel companies out there organising holidays to wonderful parts of the world. So why, you may ask, should you choose to travel with “Wildlife Travel”? What makes the company so different?

For “Wildlife Travel“, their conservation credentials aren’t just a case of ‘green wash’, they are central to the way the holidays and business function. “Wildlife Travel” was set up with the express aim of supporting nature conservation. Any profit made is donated to The Wildlife Trusts to support their vital conservation work in the UK.

Wherever possible they work directly with nature conservation organisations in the host countries to support their activities. For instance, their trip to Bulgaria is organised to support the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds, while the stay in the Peruvian rainforest will contribute to the work of the Tambopata Research Centre, studying scarlet macaws. All leaders either work in, or have direct links with, nature conservation.

A programme is being developed offering more holidays that don’t require air travel. It is now possible to travel to several European destinations by train.

“Wildlife Travel” are also working closely with the local “Wildlife Trusts” in the UK to develop a programme of UK breaks, offering wildlife viewing with the local experts.

Look out for more news on the trips as they become available on the website:

Man was made for Joy and Woe | William Blake Quote

Man was made for Joy and Woe | William Blake Quote

This is one of my favourite quotes. It is so meaningful.

“Man was made for joy and woe
and when this we rightly know
through the world we safely go.
Joy and woe are woven fine
A clothing for the soul divine.”

~ William Blake
